Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. is seeking applicants to operate and maintain production line equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards. You will stock lines, adjust equipment, and ensure safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.

The role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training on GMP and safety protocols will be provided; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Production or general work experience preferred.
  • Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station.
  • Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and notify appropriate personnel for preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls.
  • Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Follow GMP and corporate regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Job description

Operate and maintain line equipment for the product runs that meet established production standards needed for maximum efficiency and quality standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare, operate, maintain, and stock assigned production line or station
  • Maintain equipment in full operational status by making adjustments to equipment
  • Ensure operation of equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions and notifying the proper individuals when needed for preventative maintenance or issues needing attention
  • Maintain quality by observing operations and adjusting with speed controls and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and clean equipment according to guidelines and expectations
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Production or general work experience preferred
  • Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
  • Able to effectively work in a team environment
  • Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English

$21.50 and up
