Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a team member to operate in a ready-to-eat corndog production area. Your role includes packing, inspecting, and moving boxes along the conveyor, while ensuring labeling and packaging accuracy. You will rotate through stations as needed to support daily production goals.

Candidates should be able to perform basic math, stand for long shifts, and work in a fast-paced environment. This is a first-shift, on-site position with standard Tyson Foods safety protocols in place.

Job Details:

This position starts at $18.75/hr.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for working in an environment that produces ready to eat corndogs.

• Packing corndogs
• Inspecting product
• Placing packed boxes of product onto conveyor belts
• Monitor labeling, wrapping, and code dates on boxes.
• Perform repetitive hand movements.
• Perform other work duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP System if transferred /rotated.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
• Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to reach high above shoulders and low levels, frequently.
• Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 10 pounds frequently and ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to climb step ladders and or stairs.
• Must be able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
• Repetitive gripping, pinching, and counting.
