Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a General Labor opening in Milton, WI. The role offers a potential to hire and requires reading recipes, operating the plant control system, and performing production and cleaning tasks.

Candidate should be able to lift 55 lbs, stand all shift, and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Forklift operation experience is a plus and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• English literacy required for reading schedules and logging tasks.
• Basic math skills for recipe weights and measurement.
• Attention to detail for product inspection and paperwork.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Read recipes and add ingredients to mixer or bulk tank using manual and PCS/HMI.
• Perform production and non-production cleaning following procedures.
• Set up, tear down and clean tanks, pipes, pumps and plates.
• Move ingredients using inventory system to ensure FEFO/Product rotation.
• Inspects product for color, shape and size in finished goods.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Complete labor reports and sanitation sheets accurately.
• Participate in safety and quality meetings and training.
