Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a housekeeping associate for our Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing team in Louisiana. You will perform cleaning and upkeep of buildings, facilities, and grounds to ensure safe, high-quality inputs for production.

This role supports a member-owned cooperative with a focus on safety and reliability. Required: 18+ and 1 year of work experience, basic computer skills, ability to follow instructions, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions.

Job description

Pay: $20.53 per hour plus Shift Differential

Shift & Working Hours: 1st Shift; 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you’ll be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing housekeeping to ensure our plants can add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and continual upkeep of the buildings, facilities, and grounds. Join our team to become part of a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow.

This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. We innovate the nutrition products and practices that unlock the full potential of every animal for a healthier, more productive life.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
