Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) to join its Purina Animal Nutrition manufacturing team in the United States. You will operate machinery, package final products, and contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency on the line.

This front-line role requires basic math and computer skills, a willingness to learn, and strong teamwork. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration, communication skills.

Job description

Production Operator - 3rd Shift Pay: $30.20 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour Shift & Working Hours: 3rd Shift; 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. This role is part of our Purina Animal Nutrition business who serves producers and animal owners throughout the United States. Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
