Job summary

International Paper in Shakopee, MN is seeking General Labor for 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Pay rate ranges from $23.30/hr up to $27.63/hr. The position is full-time at the Shakopee Box Facility, with opportunities to operate machinery, read orders, and perform quality inspections.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The Job You Will Perform

• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Safely operate machinery
• Read factory orders
• Utilize basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment
• Consistent quality and count inspection of finished product
• Housekeeping to include blowing down of machinery, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap
• Complete quality and administrative document checks with accuracy to ensure specific directions are followed
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
