Job Description

Position Title: General Labor

Pay Rate: $24.91

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time and could be assigned to any shift. 1st: 7am – 3pm, 2nd: 3pm – 11pm, 3rd: 11pm – 7am. Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.

Physical Location: Carson Container, 1350 E. 223rd Street, Carson, CA 90745

The Job You Will Perform
  • Perform all tasks safely in accordance with company rules and facility guidelines
  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Reading factory orders
  • Safely operate necessary areas of machinery
  • Utilizing basic shop math while inspecting product (accurately reading tape measure, gauges, and other testing equipment)
  • Effectively be able to follow directions to complete quality inspections and administrative document checks with accuracy
  • Ensure proper housekeeping of the work area is clean, organized, and maintained especially during production downtimes. This will include the following clean-up functions: blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
