Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is hiring Summer Truck Team Members in the San Francisco Bay Area to help customers reclaim space. You’ll work with a teammate, ride in a branded truck, and assist customers with item removals across homes and businesses.

You’ll need a positive attitude, strong communication, and a willingness to stay active. Roles include both full-time and part-time schedules with base pay plus tips and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles or sales-oriented environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and stay motivated.

Responsibilities

• Go out with a teammate in a branded company truck.
• Visit homes and businesses to help customers remove unwanted items.
• Communicate clearly, kindly, and professionally with every customer.
• Lift and move items 75+ lbs safely and efficiently.
• Sort items for donation and recycling to reduce landfill waste.
• Work closely with the operations manager to keep routes running smoothly.

What Your Day Will Look Like:

What We Are Looking For:

• 21+ years old with a valid California driver’s license
• Clean driving record over the past 3 years
• A positive, happy to help attitude
• Willingness to work hard and stay active
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Dependable and open to learning
• Availability to work at least one weekend day
• Smartphone capable of downloading multiple apps
