Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a General Laborer to join our growing team. This shop role involves operating woodworking machinery and hand tools, understanding product lines, and following installation techniques to support our customization projects.

The position emphasizes safety, quality standards, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with daily tasks, maintain shop equipment, review cut lists, and adapt to additional projects as directed by the Production

Qualifications

• Experience in woodworking or cabinet-making preferred (32mm systems).
• Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Some prior woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Laborer to join our growing team. The individual will be a shop assistant with the following responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• Understand company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques.
• Follow quality and safety standards.
• Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule.
• Understand cut lists for daily jobs.
• Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Manager.
