UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Dayshift General Laborer to safely handle lumber products and verify material against customer requirements. You will move, stack, label, staple, band, and secure materials while maintaining accurate inventory and participating in safety programs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred but not required), 18+ years old, and basic math skills. Prior lumber manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required; manufacturing or lumber experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsabilités

• Move and secure lumber products and materials.
• Stack finished products by bundle size or customer specs.
• Label material by type, size and count.
• Use staples and secure materials with bands and corner protectors.
• Ensure correct quantities and materials are strapped and labeled before leaving area.
• Maintain inventory records and clean, organized work area.
• Assist with other tasks and rotate through areas as needed.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
