Job summary

Seneca Foods is seeking a production worker in Dayton, OR to perform general duties under the supervision of the production supervisor. Responsibilities include weighing totes, closing/covering totes, maintaining a clean area, and assisting with line operations.

Must be able to start 30 minutes before shift and work rotating shifts including weekends. Employee will adhere to GMPs and PPE requirements, with some cross-training possible in other duties.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of different weights of products.
• Knowledge of different sizes and styles of fruit.
• Good communication skills.
• Trained on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Trained and knowledgeable in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must pass respiratory fitness test.
• May be cross-trained in other job duties.

Responsibilities

• Weigh totes of product to the correct weight.

Position Summary
