Job summary

Eclipse Advantage is hiring for a warehouse associate to unload and sort freight, operate material handling equipment, and ensure accurate packing and labeling. The role supports fast-paced fulfillment, with training provided on RF scanning and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehouse experience preferred, willing to train.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (e.g., electric pallet jack).
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards.
• Excellent customer service required.
• Overtime/weekends may be required during peak/seasonal volumes.

Responsibilities

• Unload and break down freight (trucks, trailers, rail cars).
• Sort and organize freight.
• Operate various types of material handling equipment.
• Sort, repack, and label freight.
• Identify unusable pallets.
• Use RF Scanner to read, count, and verify items (training provided).
• Remove items from bins and scan for accuracy, prepare packing lists.
• Operate warehouse machinery per SOPs (e.g., bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers).
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.

Job Description:

• Unloads and breaks down freight (eg. trucks, trailers, rail cars, etc)
• Sorts and organizes freight
• Operate various types of material handling equipment
• Sort, repack, and label freight
• Identify unusable pallets
• Basic ability to read, count and use RF Scanner technology (training provided)
• Remove items from sorting bins, scan and place onto conveyer belt
• Remove items from packing bins, scan items using RF Scanner for accuracy, produce packing list and bag items
• Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with customer standard operating procedures. (eg. bailers, trash compactors, shrink wrappers, etc.)
• Maintains work area in a clean and hazard free condition

Pay Range:

$17.00 - $17.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

• 6 months warehouse experience (preferred but willing to train)
• Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs
• Warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred (ie electric pallet jack)
• Meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
• Excellent customer service required
• Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
• Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
• Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
• Standing/climbing 8 to 10 hours per day
• Effective communication skills
• Safety shoes are required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Other duties as assigned
