Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center seeks a full-time Internal Medicine physician to join our department and strengthen the primary care presence across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care within a dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Candidates must have an MD/DO from an LCME‑accredited school, completed an Internal Medicine residency, be board certified or eligible for certification, and eligible for Texas licensure.

  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure and board certified in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in UT Southwestern's educational and research missions as appropriate.
  • Join a growing network of primary care physicians within the UT Southwestern Medical Group.

Job description

Join one of the nation's premier academic medical centers in building its primary care presence across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to join our team.

Our growing network of primary care physicians provides advanced care to patients in state-of-the-art clinics,supported by a dynamic operations infrastructure. As a member of the UT Southwestern Medical Group, you’llhave access to innovative technologies and be part of a multidisciplinary provider community comprised of more than3,000 highly qualified, board-certified physicians, specialists, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. The position requires an M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent from an approved LCME medical school and satisfactory completion of an Internal Medicine residency in an ACGME-accreditedprogram. Candidate must beeligible for Texas medical licensure and be board certified in Internal Medicine. The primary responsibility isproviding outstanding, high-quality clinical care for patients, with opportunities to also actively participate in oureducational and research missions, as appropriate.
