Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center seeks an academic general neurologist to join a high-volume, patient-centered program. The role includes balancing outpatient and inpatient neurology care at Aston and Parkland clinics and Clements University Hospital.

The ideal candidate will participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows while contributing to the growth of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute within one of the nation’s top academic health systems.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Adult Neurology by the ABPN.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient general neurology care at Aston and Parkland General Neurology Clinics.
  • Provide inpatient general neurology care at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic setting.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute within a leading academic health system.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an academic general neurologist. Applicants can expect an opportunity for a well-balanced career in General Neurology.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume inpatient and outpatient general neurology practice while contributing to resident and fellow education in one of the nation's top academic health systems.

Position Highlights:
  • Provide outpatient general neurology care at Aston and Parkland General Neurology Clinics
  • Provide inpatient general neurology care at Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in an academic setting
  • Participate in the growth of the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, a rapidly expanding enterprise supporting cilnical, research, education, and community outreach efforts

Qualification
