Job Title: Clinical Applications Specialist, General Imaging Ultrasound

An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a Clinical Applications Specialist – General Imaging Ultrasound to join our Ultrasound team.

Whether coming from a clinical background or transitioning into the commercial sector, your clinical experience within General Imaging and customer-centric approach will be highly valued.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of our General Imaging Ultrasound business, enhance customer satisfaction, and support after-sales activities by demonstrating Philips Cardiac Ultrasound products and training users on our Ultrasound equipment to ensure full utilization. You will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and customers, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business.

This position covers the South West & Wales territory and is field-based. You must be willing to travel and support the wider team when needed. If not currently residing in this territory, relocation plans are required.

You will be part of a team of 15 ultrasound clinical application specialists, reporting to the Business Line Manager, with additional support from the Ultrasound Clinical Applications team leader.

Your role:

1. Demonstrate General Imaging Ultrasound products at customer sites, hospitals, conferences, and exhibits. Support sales specialists by providing expert support to showcase equipment effectively.
2. Manage post-sales customer training at hospitals and during Philips customer optimization days.
3. Follow training schedules for all equipment and train customers in ultrasound product use, providing formal reports after each application visit.
4. Maintain contact with existing users to ensure ongoing satisfaction and confidence in Philips Ultrasound equipment.
5. Ensure all clinical applications training aligns with the company's Quality Policy.
6. Provide feedback to management regarding system performance, competitor products, customer reactions, and sales initiatives.
7. Collaborate with the Product Management Group's applications team to stay updated on the latest ultrasound information, attending international meetings when appropriate.
8. Support courses delivered by key accounts/customers.
9. Assist the Business Line Manager in marketing, sales, and promotion activities related to General Imaging Ultrasound equipment, providing specialist support to account managers when needed.

• You possess a full UK driving license and are willing to travel extensively.
• You have completed postgraduate studies in Sonography or Clinical Science.
• You are a member of the British Society of Echocardiology.
• You have in-depth clinical experience within General Imaging.
• You have the capability to train others on ultrasound equipment.
• You possess excellent communication skills and are a positive relationship builder.
