Ultrasound Clinical Application Specialist – St. Louis, MO

Job Purpose

Responsible for educating, training, and promoting Ultrasound (US) products to customers and prospects through clinical presentations, product evaluations, ongoing support, and consultative interactions to close sales, maintain, and grow the US market. Builds and maintains relationships with key decision-makers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive product evaluations and clinical follow-ups at target accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to meet objectives and ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement business and sales plans aligned with regional strategies.
  • Establish and develop contacts with existing and potential customers.
  • Increase market share in existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate account profiles and utilize company tools effectively.
  • Manage time efficiently through territory management techniques.
  • Support product evaluations with clinical and technical expertise, ensuring on-label use.
  • Provide clinical support and act as a resource for US products.
  • Network at trade shows and industry events to promote US products.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales records using Concur and Salesforce.
  • Adhere to company values and guiding principles.
Education
  • BA/BS degree highly desired.
Experience & Skills

Clinical experience with knowledge of echocardiography, ultrasound, or medical credentialing preferred. Industry experience includes at least five years in clinical applications of CEUS or cardiac ultrasound, or as a cardiac sonographer/nurse with CEUS experience.

Must have strong knowledge of echocardiography, ultrasound equipment, and clinical applications, with excellent communication, teamwork, and technology skills. Knowledge of healthcare economics, reimbursement, and competitive modalities is also required.

Certifications & Licenses
  • Registered Sonographer, cardiac preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
  • Compliance with credentialing requirements, including vaccinations and background checks.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Field-based role with up to 70% overnight travel.
  • Some weekend work for industry events and meetings.
