Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services is seeking a responsible General Highway Laborer with a strong work ethic. You will perform highway maintenance tasks, set up traffic control, and assist with vegetation removal across various sites.

This role requires 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 10, a current medical card, and the ability to lift 50-60 pounds. Training for ATSSA traffic control may be provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record for 5 years is required.
• OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card required.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (company can provide).
• Able to lift 50-60 pounds and work flexibly including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks such as bridge cleaning and vegetation removal.
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Comply with safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
• Operate landscaping tasks including weed whacking as needed.

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a responsible, motivated, and skilled General Highway Laborer with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for performing various highway maintenance tasks, including traffic control set-ups, cleaning, and tree/brush removal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks, such as bridge cleaning, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles as required.
• Use all equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience:

• 18+ years of age or older
• Must have a valid drivers license
• 5 years clean MVR (motor vehiclerecord)
• OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card required
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (can be provided by the company if not already certified).
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Comfortable and capable of working from various heights.
• Experience with landscaping and weed whacking is required.
