Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC (DCS) is seeking a responsible CDL Highway Laborer to join our team. You will perform highway maintenance tasks, including traffic control setups, cleaning, and vegetation removal while upholding safety standards.

Qualified candidates must hold a CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, OSHA 10, and a current medical card. The role requires lifting up to 60 lbs, flexible hours, and the ability to operate box trucks. Landscaping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement.
• 5 years of clean MVR on record.
• OSHA 10 and current medical card.
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (can be provided).
• Ability to lift 50–60 lbs and work flexible hours (days/nights/weekends).
• Experience with landscaping/weed whacking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform highway maintenance tasks (bridge cleaning, vegetation removal).
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is looking for a responsible, motivated, and skilled CDL Highway Laborer with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for performing various highway maintenance tasks, including traffic control set-ups, cleaning, and tree/brush removal.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of highway maintenance tasks, such as bridge cleaning, tree cutting, and vegetation removal.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Set up and take down temporary traffic control systems daily.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Operate company vehicles as required.
• Use all equipment and tools in a safe and effective manner.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience:

• 18+ years of age or older
• Must have a valid CDL Class B license with air break endorsement
• 5 years clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
• Must have OSHA 10 and up-to-date medical card
• ATSSA Traffic Control Certification (can be provided by the company if not already certified).
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds.Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.Capable of driving a box truck or similar vehicle.Comfortable and capable of working from various heights.Experience with landscaping and weed whacking is required.
