Job summary

Eurest in the United States is seeking a General Helper who will prepare, present and serve meals and drinks, ensuring quality and presentation. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.

As part of the team, you will engage customers, explain the coffee menu where applicable, follow safety standards, clean, stock supplies and assist with meal distribution. Experience in food service is preferred; strong English communication and ability to lift up to 40 lb are assets.

Qualifications

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Previous food service experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work in accordance with safety standards.
• Welcome customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu, answering questions.
• Prepare coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks such as espresso, cafe latte, and cappuccino.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Ability to work in various workstations including meal distribution area (packaging).
• Willing to learn skid wrapping of finished product.
• Food preparation and cooking as needed.

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
