Job summary

Eurest is hiring a General Helper at our London, Ontario campus Cafeteria to assist with food service, guest interaction, and daily operations. You will help prepare, present and serve meals, ensuring quality and presentation while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires strong English communication, teamwork and reliability, with shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including weekends. Prior food service experience is an asset; health and sanitation rules must be followed.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests and taking orders promptly.
• Follow safety standards and sanitation rules.
• Store food with proper wrapping, dating and rotation.
• Perform general cleaning; remove trash.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.

• Must be available to work 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, including weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
• Inventory and Cash handling knowledge is considered an asset
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage workload.
• Ability to work both independently and in team setting as required.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous food service experience in healthcare, hotel, restaurant, or fast food is considered an asset.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Minor heavy lifting may be involved (up to 40 lb.)
