Purpose:
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to maintaining and improving the Distribution Center’s heavy operating equipment. The General Equipment Repair Technician must be able to perform certain maintenance functions and when required coordinate and partner with contractors and vendors in the performance of service, tasks and projects common to the role.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Physical Work – Ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects and perform job. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
