Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements, etc., to ensure vehicle reliability and longevity.
- Assist with and conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or safety concerns.
- Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and computerized systems to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive problems.
- Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry safety and quality standards.
- Perform quality control checks and test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify remaining issues.
- Immediately report accidents or service issues requiring additional work or safety concerns to the Store or Service Manager.
- Conduct test drives in accordance with company policies, safety practices, and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate service needs and recommendations effectively to sales and management staff.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain repair recommendations, provide estimates, and address questions or concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate, and quality automotive services.
- Collaborate with senior technicians, management, and team members to coordinate workflow and ensure efficient service.
- Follow and promote workplace safety policies and best practices to minimize safety risks and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment per company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting automotive repair and safety.
- Support the Store Manager in fostering a positive, inclusive, and cohesive team environment to develop employees, exceed goals, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education, Credentials, and Experience
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

Position Details
This is a full-time, onsite role requiring at least 32 hours weekly, with varying hours including weekends. Travel up to 25% may be required, mainly between local stores.
