Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, invites you to join our Torrington, CT practice as a General Dentist. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time), 8 AM–5 PM, compensation up to 36%, comprehensive benefits, health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network, and unlimited earning

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, update, and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination

Malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
