Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist in Torrington, CT. The dentist will manage the entire patient experience from exam to care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers flexibility (part-time or full-time, 8 AM–5 PM, 2–5 days/week) with compensation up to 36%. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism and stay updated on best practices.
