42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. The role covers the full patient experience from exams to treatment planning, with in-house specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Formation

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination documented

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
