42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to own the patient care journey from exam to treatment. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics, with options for part-time or full-time schedules in Torrington, CT.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an ADA CODA accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Hepatitis B vaccination documented
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism
• Keep up-to-date with new developments and continuing education

Formation
