Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the complete clinical patient experience from initial exam to treatment delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer part-time or full-time schedules, 2-5 days per week, 8AM-5PM, with compensation up to 36% and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, 401K, CE opportunities, and exclusive discounts.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
