Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. You’ll manage the complete clinical patient experience from exam through delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Expect a flexible schedule (2–5 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and compensation up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), CE

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay updated with new developments and ongoing professional development.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state dental license

Hepatitis B vaccination documented

Malpractice insurance

BLS or CPR certification
