Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from exam through treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time, 2–5 days, 8am–5pm) and compensation up to 36% of collections, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for ongoing education through Harvard rounds network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
