Job summary

42North Dental in Torrington, CT is seeking a General Dentist to join our team. You will oversee the patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The position offers flexible scheduling (2-5 days per week, 8am-5pm) with compensation up to 36% of collections and comprehensive benefits, including health, vision, 401K, and continuing education through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage proof.
• BLS/CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and care.
• Review and maintain patients' medical/dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth/jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments, technologies, and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
