Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to manage the full patient experience from examination to treatment planning and delivery. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

This role offers 2–5 days per week, 8 AM–5 PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections. Full- or part-time opportunities for a licensed DDS/DMD, with benefits and ongoing CE through Harvard rounds network.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies and best practices.
