Job summary

42 North Dental in Torrington, CT seeks a General Dentist to oversee the full patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office services across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

This position offers part-time or full-time schedules, typically 2–5 days per week from 8 AM to 5 PM, with compensation up to 36% of collections and access to exclusive CE opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education.
