42 North Dental is seeking a General Dentist to join our team in Torrington, CT. The role covers the full patient experience from exam to delivery of care, with in-office specialists including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Flexible 2–5 days per week; compensation up to 36% of collections; comprehensive benefits offered. Qualified candidates hold a DMD or DDS, current dental license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Formation

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA-accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS/CPR certification
