talisman seeks a highly accomplished General Counsel to lead all legal functions across its distributed energy and infrastructure platform, supporting solar, battery storage, EV infrastructure, and microgrid solutions.

The role defines legal strategy, negotiates major commercial agreements, structures debt and tax equity project financing, and oversees corporate governance and risk management. Washington DC-Baltimore Area (Hybrid/Remote).

Qualifications

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• 12+ years of legal experience in renewables, infrastructure, or project finance.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the company's legal strategy aligned with growth and capital markets.
• Negotiate major commercial agreements, off-take agreements, and EPC contracts.
• Lead legal structuring and execution of debt, tax equity, and project financing transactions.
• Oversee corporate governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
