Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership.
• 8+ years of legal experience, including startup or high-growth companies.
• Direct experience with FCRA compliance and CRA industry.
• Experience using AI with legal teams to improve workflows.
• Strong communication with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Turn's primary legal resource and GC, managing outside counsel.
• Own FCRA compliance and industry-specific background screening laws.
• Review and negotiate client MSAs, data licenses, and vendor agreements.
• Advise on employment law, governance, and fundraising.
• Develop and maintain internal compliance programs and training.
• Monitor regulatory landscape and communicate risks to leadership.
