Job Details

Description A General Cleaning Supervisor is an employee assigned to oversee work activities of janitorial personnel in commercial and industrial establishments, assign daily duties, inspect work and perform janitorial services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs duties at the direction of the Contract Manager
• Daily verbal and/or written communication with subordinates, vendor, and management
• Regularly checks email correspondence to ensure
• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
• Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas
• Assigns needed coverage
• Gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments
• Ascertains compliance with directives.
• Conducts inspections and investigates tenant complaints of the building to check for cleanliness
• Advises employees of found conditions and methods of correction
• Inspects equipment for cleanliness and repair and personally makes minor repairs.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, and supplies used in large-scale janitorial activities of the service.
