Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Carrollton, KY, is seeking a General Cleaner with a focus on Floor Technician care for the 1st shift (3:00 AM - 11:30 AM). You will maintain a clean, safe environment across a busy manufacturing facility and operate commercial floor care equipment to keep floors in top condition.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Flexibility with schedules.
• Must comply with safety rules and procedures.
• Physical ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Wear PPE: shirt, steel-toed shoes, gloves, long pants.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning throughout facility floors, offices, and spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Operate commercial floor machines safely.
• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and polish hard floor surfaces.
• Perform routine floor restoration and maintenance.
• Clean restrooms, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Remove trash and sanitize assigned areas.
• Stock and organize supply rooms and cleaning materials.
• Maintain floor care equipment and supplies.

Join the LACOSTA team as a General Cleaner with a focus on Floor Technician care , helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment throughout a busy manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is comfortable operating commercial floor care equipment.

Job Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week (Full Time)

• 1st Shift: 3:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Pay Rate:

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning throughout manufacturing floors, offices, break rooms, stairwells, lobbies, elevators, locker rooms/showers, security areas, and other facility spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Operate commercial floor machines safely and effectively.
• Strip, wax, buff, burnish, and polish hard floor surfaces.
• Perform routine and periodic floor restoration and maintenance.
• Clean restrooms, windows, and high-touch surfaces.
• Remove trash and sanitize assigned areas.
• Stock and organize supply rooms and cleaning materials.
• Maintain floor care equipment and supplies in good working condition.

• Must have an original birth certificate and ID to obtain.

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Flexibility with schedules
• Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
• Must wear LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed shoes, gloves and long pants while working.
• Remove all jewelry and accessories.
