Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services in Illinois is seeking a dedicated custodian for the 2nd shift. The role supports manufacturing floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas to keep the facility clean and safe.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 3:30pm–11:00pm, totaling 35 hours per week. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs; safety gear is required.

Qualifications

• Job Schedule: Monday-Friday, 35hrs/week
• Job duties include cleaning of manufacturing floor, restrooms, locker rooms/showers, offices, break rooms, supply closets, lobby, and ceiling vents
• Requirements: Pass background check and drug screening; physical ability to lift 40lbs; wear safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed or composite shoes; long pants; remove jewelry

Responsible for: Manufacturing floor, restrooms, locker rooms/showers, offices, break rooms, supply closets, lobby, and ceiling vents. Also conducts special project tasks.

• Routine building cleaning
• Window cleaning
• Trash and recycling removal
• Policing ground for litter
• Stripping, Buffing, Waxing, Refinishing
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Stocking supply rooms
• Project and Maintenance work

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 40lbs independently.
• Wear safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed or composite toed shoes, long pants while working
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
