Job summary

Environmental Service Systems, LLC is hiring a General Cleaner to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside client facilities. Flexible in duties per client specifications, with on-site responsibilities across multiple sites.

The role requires a high school diploma (or 6 months janitorial experience) and the ability to follow cleaning protocols. On-the-job training is provided, with health benefits for full-time positions and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash and use of a compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitizers; follow schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per client scope.
