Environmental Service Systems, LLC in New Jersey is hiring a General Cleaner to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to each client's specifications and to work across multiple buildings.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, stocking supplies, and following the established schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or six months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use the compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and use heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by scope of work or client needs.
