Job summary

Environmental Service Systems, LLC is seeking a General Cleaner to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance at client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt duties per customer specifications and to uphold high cleanliness standards.

The position includes responsibilities such as cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas, with on-the-job training provided. Health insurance, retirement options, and ongoing training support career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose of materials; operate compactors when needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
