Job summary

Environmental Service Systems, LLC is seeking a General Cleaner to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside a building or multiple client sites. You will follow client specifications, maintain floors and restrooms, and ensure a clean, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash, and use a compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
