HM Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dedicated General Cleaner to join our team in Rockingham, North Carolina. This role supports daily cleaning across high-traffic areas, ensuring clean and safe facilities. You will stock restrooms, operate cleaning equipment, and follow company procedures to maintain quality standards.

The position is a full-time, overnight role (10pm–6am) with a 40-hour workweek and a starting pay of $13 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas as designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment, including moving furniture as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners.
• Maintain safe, organized storage for cleaning supplies and complete cleaning checklists.
• Follow standardized cleaning processes per company standards.
• Attend all staff meetings and required in-service sessions.
• Follow established work routines and apply procedures consistently.

This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services across various environments.

Job Type: Full time Monday - Friday 10pm-6am

Pay: $13/hr

Expected hours: 40 per week

What You'll Do:

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment which includes moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies are in a safe, secure area at all times. Complete a detailed cleaning checklist for each designated area.
• Complete standardized cleaning process as per company standards.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Attend all regular staff meetings and required in-service training sessions.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks described in detail.

Requirements:

• Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
