Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) seeks a full-time General Cardiologist to join a well-established practice at UM Shore Medical Center at Easton. The role includes inpatient and outpatient duties with call 1:6, and access to a broad range of cardiology services including echocardiography, EKGs, stress testing, Nuclear Cardiology and pacemaker clinics.

This physician-led system offers a collaborative environment, with 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage and multiple practice locations

Qualifications

• Holds and maintains current medical license in Maryland.
• Board certification in Cardiology is required.
• DEA or similar narcotics certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of echocardiograms, EKGs, stress testing and zio monitoring.
• Provide consultations, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Pacemaker and Heart Failure clinics.
• Primary angioplasty available with three interventional cardiologists on staff.
• Inpatient and outpatient care with a 8am–5pm schedule, call 1:6 with 6 weekdays and 1 weekend every 5–6 weeks.
