University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its growing cardiology practice in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Join an established team of 12 physicians, 11 APPs, and 4 nurses.

Office- and hospital-based work with an average of ~30 patients/day, in a collaborative model with APPs.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology.
• Valid Maryland medical license, or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Open to new graduates and experienced physicians alike
• Energetic, motivated physician who values teamwork and collaboration

Job Description

• Established team of 12 physicians, 11 APPs, and 4 nurses
• Office- and hospital-based, single-specialty group
• Average patient volume: ~30 patients/day split between office and hospital
• Collaborative model: Physicians work closely with APPs in both settings
• Largest cardiology practice in Northern Anne Arundel County

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology
• Valid Maryland medical license, or eligibility to obtain.

Compensation

$425,000 starting annual salary. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, training, and qualifications.
