Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System's UM Shore Medical Group Cardiology in Easton, MD seeks a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our cardiology team in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate with cardiologists and hospitalists to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care to diverse patients.

Qualified applicants will have MD/DO- NP license in Maryland, board certification, and DEA; outpatient/ICU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Maryland license to practice medicine required.
• Board certification as Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• DEA or similar certification required.
• Professional privileges at UMMS facilities may be required.
• Experience in cardiology or inpatient settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient cardiology-focused role within a regional medical center.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and APP team for patient care.
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and document plans of care.
