Job summary

The City of Springfield is seeking a General Aviation Manager to lead the day-to-day operations at the General Aviation complex, ensuring exceptional customer service, safe operations, and sound financial management at Springfield-Branson National Airport.

You will supervise staff, coordinate line service, deliver staff training, and prepare annual budget requests in collaboration with the Business Office. Aviation operations and budgeting experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in customer service operations, with two years in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: customer service experience in a general aviation environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the General Aviation complex.
• Supervise and coordinate staff, scheduling, and leave planning to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate activities with aviation staff to support efficient daily operations.
• Provide employee training to promote consistent service quality and compliance with procedures.
• Prepare annual budget requests for the General Aviation complex and submit to the Business Office.
