Job Summary
This is a mid-level position for a high-energy individual with 1-5 years of experience in an automotive repair environment, proficiency in at least one under-car specialty, and ambition to enhance their technical and management skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment to ensure smooth shop operations but primarily work independently inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles.
- Engage in ongoing training to increase skill levels, perform equipment maintenance, manage inventory, and maintain a clean workspace.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: At least 1 year of hands-on experience performing basic automotive maintenance and repair tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
- Knowledge of Automotive Systems: Solid understanding of vehicle systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, with the ability to perform routine diagnostic checks.
- Proficiency with Tools: Experience using standard automotive tools and equipment, such as diagnostic scanners, wrenches, and lifts, safely and efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in inspections and repairs, ensuring work meets high standards and safety requirements.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members, explaining repairs and services clearly and professionally while providing excellent customer service.
