Job summary

Hertrich Family of Dealerships is offering an entry-level General Auto Service Tech position in Dover, DE. Paid training is provided to help you advance from an entry-level mechanic to a certified technician as you gain hands-on experience in a high-volume shop.

We value motivated, dependable team players who want to learn and grow. 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience and a valid driver’s license are required. Tools you own are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience required
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with minimal points

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs)
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required)
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
