The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is seeking a General Auto Service Tech / Entry-Level Mechanic. Must have 1-2 years of automotive repair experience and a willingness to learn and grow. Paid training is provided and a clear career path is offered within a family-owned automotive group.

We operate 24 dealerships with high-volume shops, offering competitive pay, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, plus a supportive team culture focused on integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive maintenance or repair experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Own a basic set of automotive repair tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.
• Valid driver's license with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic automotive services including oil changes, lube services, and fluid flushes.
• Complete Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs).
• Assist with brake services (experience a plus, not required).
• Gain hands-on experience while working toward technician certifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
